Ukrainian mobilization: Hungarian citizen caught at the Slovak border

According to origo.hu, the Transcarpathian man, who did not obey the mobilization order, was identified by the Ukrainian border guards at the Slovak-Ukrainian border, he tried in vain to identify himself with his Hungarian passport.

The man was returning home from Slovakia, where he worked legally through his Ukrainian-Hungarian dual citizenship. At the border crossing of Ungvar, he showed his Hungarian passport, but the Ukrainian passport checker identified him and handed over the police. The man was taken into custody.

The Ukrainian border guard service spokesman said to origo.hu, that although the man from Transcarpathia got the mobilization order, but he did not appear in the military headquarters in time. Therefore the authorities issued a warrant for his arrest.
