The ‘Senki szigete’ will be released at the film festival at Minneapolis

According to index.hu, the newest movie of Török Ferenc the ‘Senki szigete’ released at the Film Society of Minneapolis St. Paul. The film’s national premier was at this festival, said the Hungarian Film Union on to the MTI.

On the American film festival’s repertoire, besides this film, the ‘Utóélet’ and ‘Szabadesés’ films will also be played. The ‘Szabadesés’ film by Pálfi György was gained the Karlovy Vary reward and was made in joint production with Hungary, South Korea and France. The ‘Utóélet’ film was made by Zomborácz Virág and received different national festivals’ awards.

The Film Society of Minneapolis which was founded in 1962 has its selected program from around 70 countries: Török Ferenc’s film show at the World Cinema program on this weekend.

Török’s newest film was made from Szekér András’ (Órium, A nagy füzet) screenplay. The run-away bride is played by Jakab Juli (Nekem Budapest), the wild taxi driver is by Bánfalvy Eszter (Isztanbul, A zöld sárkány gyermekei) and the guy who is a basketball player is played by Mohai Tamás (Szabadság különjárat). The cameraman of the ‘Senki szigete’ is Szecsanov Martin and the producer is Sándor Pál.
