A teenager in Diósd brutally murdered two of his acquaintances. The 18-year-old boy himself reported the incident to the police by phone around half-past two on Friday, April 24th. The arriving policemen arrested the local murderer on the scene. The on-site investigation and criminal proceedings started immediately. The victims were two men; one was 65 years old, and the other was 49. According to one of their neighbours, they moved to the town a few years ago.
The 18-year-old boy who beat two men to death in Diósd with an axe acted out of revenge. According to 24’s information, the 65-year-old and 49-year-old men moved to the property in Diósd a few years ago, where they later took in József Z., the perpetrator. The three men were drinking from time to time, and on such occasions, they often had arguments and quarrels. It is suspected that on the night before Friday they a severe fight about a previous conflict that got physical.
24 contacted the Pest County Prosecutor General’s Office to find out what measures were requested against the perpetrator. Spokesman József Levente Nisóczi said in his reply that the prosecutor’s office had requested the young man to be arrested for risk of escaping and hiding from criminal law, and for the risk of recidivism. The investigating judge of the Budakörnyék District Court agreed with the motion of the prosecutor’s office and ordered the arrest of 18-year-old József Z.

In their statement, they wrote that the murderer killed his two roommates because they had abused him, and the perpetrator wanted revenge. On the night of April 24th, he grabbed a 100-cm-long axe with a 17-cm-long blade, and he woke up one of the men already asleep, and he delivered 4-5 heavy blows to the victim’s head and neck and mutilated the man’s right arm. He then went into the other room, where he woke up his other roommate, the second victim, and murdered him with 4-5 blows of his axe.
Following the act, the teenager walked to a nearby gas station where he bought alcohol and energy drinks, then went back to the scene and reported the incident to the police. The perpetrator did not testify in court. The arrest warrant was acknowledged by all, so it is final.
