Budapest, October 14 (MTI) – Hungarian police task forces in 2014 have clamped down on illegal online retailers of cigarette and spirits who failed to pay 140 million forints in taxes, daily Magyar Nemzet said today.
During 2,000 online checks, the police also uncovered tax-dodging homeopaths, second-hand shops and catering services, most of whom failed to provide a receipt, the paper said.
The task force also goes after common forgers and violators of copyrights, the paper added.
