Budapest, November 10 (MTI) – Flights are set to resume operations and depart from Terminal 2 at Budapest’s International Liszt Ferenc Airport after a computer glitch caused delays early on Monday morning.
The issue was later resolved and passengers have begun checking in their luggage. Delays are still likely throughout the day until the system catches up, and some luggage may arrive late, Laszlo Kurucz, the airport’s deputy spokesman told MTI.
Budapest Airport spokesman Mihaly Hardy told public Kossuth radio that the glitch had affected a total of 15 flights that were originally scheduled to depart between 6am and 8am. Hardy said the final decision on departure times would also depend on the respective airlines.
