The Eger Wine Bus Service starts on Saturday and follows a round route with fixed stops from morning to evening. It opens the possibility for wine lovers to visit several wineries on the same day and it is a convenient way to learn about Eger wine culture.
Altogether there are eight wineries on the route starting in the city center with stops at Szépasszony-valley, Egerszalók, Kőlyuk row of cellars and Bolyki-valley.
Day tickets can be purchased on the bus and they come with eight coupons. Each coupon can be used by one person at one winery. Coupon holders can participate in wine tastings at a reduced price or buy wines at a reduced price. You can get on and off the bus at the designated stops as stated in the timetable on the indicated days.

When can I use this service?
The buses run on Saturdays from 10am to 7pm with a frequency of 90 minutes.
Where can I buy a ticket?
On the bus when getting on and you can pay by credit card or cash.
Where can I get on the bus?
At any of the designated bus stops and a ticket is valid for a whole day.
What does it cost?
HUF 2000 per person and the whole sum can be used as coupons to pay for wines at member wineries of the Egri Borműhely. (Each coupon can be used by one person at one winery.)
How does the coupon work?
The coupons you receive when purchasing a bus ticket can be used at the wineries indicated on the coupons. Each coupon can be used by one person at one winery. You get a HUF 500 reduction from the HUF 1500 price for the three item wine tasting line-up specially assembled for this occasion at each winery. Coupons can also be used to buy wines. Please note that wineries can not return change when you are paying with coupons.

The direction of the round changes on a weekly basis, that is there are ’A’ and ’B’ weeks. Therefore it is recommended to consult the schedule and check the date before you embark on a trip.
