Budapest International Documentary Festival (BIDF) organizes and hosts the competition of award-winning, feature-length movies for the 10th time.
What are the topics discussed in some of the most critically acclaimed films in the world that propose to depict reality in a deeply artistic way?
„Your country” – for which you fight if need be.
„Your fight” – to accomplish your desires.
„Your desire” – so that you do not need to hide your beliefs.
„Your belief” – the thing you do not want to hide as a secret.
„Your secret” – your country…
Two of the featured films are current candidates for an Oscar: Four Daughters (France, Tunisia, Germany, and Saudi Arabia) and In the Rearview (Poland, France and Ukraine).

In 6 sections, 28 international jury members are going to vote for 45 competing films. Among others, the jury has Mette Hoffmann Meyer, Marcin Malatynski, Svetoslav Draganov, Ingrid Mayerova, Márta Sebestyén, and Péter Geszti among their members.
