The Eötvös Loránd University (ELTE) and the University of Szeged are on the ranking list of Times Higher Education (THE) among the institutions providing the best IT training of 2020.
According to eduline.hu, both Hungarian institutions, the Eötvös Loránd University (ELTE) and the University of Szeged, are on the list, and they are both in the 601+ category.
THE uses a methodology for the specialised ranking lists, similarly to the overall world ranking list. Creators of the list also consider the proportion of students and professors, the number of students from abroad, and the proportion of males and females.
The total number of students at the University of Szeged is 19,700. 16% of them are from abroad. The female-male ratio is 57:43. The top 1 university of Hungary is ELTE, which has 26,105 students – 9% of them are international students. The ratio of female-male students is 65:35 there.
In the first place, we can find Oxford University, followed by Stanford University, and the third place is taken by ETH Zürich of Switzerland. Except for the latter, the top ten places of the ranking list are occupied by British and American institutions. Just behind the top ten, we can find two Singaporean universities: the National University of Singapore (11th place) and the Nanyang Technological University (13th place).
