Maklari is the brand referenced in the title; they produce high-quality, hand-made shoes with the option of, and that is perhaps the most important of all, allowing customers to assemble their own shoes on their website.
Maklari as an idea started in the ’80s, when Hungarian water polo player Sándor Maklári worked as a supplier for one of his shoemaker acquaintances
The brand itself took off in 2018, selling hand-made shoes put together from the highest quality Italian materials; just like they have done it for the past three decades. The groundbreaking online interface is set to be launched in September 2019.
When asked about their concept, brand manager Roland Perjési explained that a small company like Maklari can only compete with the mammoths through online sales and marketing: hence the emphasis on the website.
