Hungarian football is far from its golden age for sure, but one thing is for sure: there are some extraordinary moments in every season, which would be acknowledged in the strongest leagues around the world as well.
This was not otherwise in the autumn either. 24.hu collected some decent volleys from the repertoire of the Hungarian Football League this year.
Roland Varga’s lob, Gameweek 2
The striker of Ferencváros had a blow at the beginning of the season, scoring four goals in the first three matches. One against MTK was especially beautiful:
Krisztián Tamás’ screamer, Gameweek 4
Although Tamás has not got too many minutes this season, six matches were enough for him to score this beauty against Debrecen (DVSC):
Gergő Loverencsics’s wonder goal, Gameweek 7
He is one of the most reliable players of Ferencváros in both parts of the pitch. He scored from outside of the box (22m) against MOL Vidi FC:
Dániel Nagy’s clever bend, Gameweek 8
This one against DVSC would definitely fit into any of the best leagues’ summary for sure!
Máté Pátkai’s bend, Gameweek 11
Similarly to the one above, Pátkai noticed the chance well and bent the ball to the up left corner. Gábor Király, goalkeeper of FC Haladás, had no chance:
Ádám Bódi’s corner, Gameweek 11
He is well-known for is shooting ability, but this one is extraordinary by his standards as well. He scored a winner against Pask, directly from a corner in the 93rd minute:
János Hegedűs from his own side of the pitch, Gameweek 11
Gameweek 11 was definitely the round of wonder goals. Hegedűs scored from 60 meters, Dénes Dibusz, goalkeeper of Ferencváros, could not get back into goal in time. The goal was decisive, he won the match for Puskás Academy:
Mátyás Tajti’s bicycle kick, Gameweek 13
Everyone was keen on seeing him coming home from Spain and even though he failed to impress in the beginning, he soon showed why Barcelona signed him as a youth player a few years ago. This one was his first in the jersey of Diósgyőr, it could not have been better:
Florent Hasani’s screamer, Gameweek 14
It is hard to decide whether the autumn was good for Hasani or not. He had great and miserable matches as well. However, his first goal in Diósgyőr was on to remember as well. He was not really bothered by the defenders of Debrecen, so he decided to fire from 24 meters. Here’s the result:
Tamás Kiss’ goal, Gameweek 15
The 18-year-old is surely one of the greatest talents in Hungarian football currently. He proved himself against Haladás:
